Pavel Filippov

Pavel Filippov is a technical physicist with a strong background in software development. His educational background includes studies of Technical Physics (TU Vienna), Applied Physics and Mathematics (St. Petersburg National Research Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences). Since his school years, Pavel won numerous Physics and Mathematics Olympiads and has been selected for participation at the All-Russian Physics Olympiads where his team became a winner in team classification (Experimental Physics). Parallel to his studies in Physics, Pavel has gained a vast experience as a software developer (among others, at MODUL University Vienna where he has been a part of the Machine Learning research group). In his research, Paul focuses on the intersection of quantum cryptography and Blockchain. His co-authored publication about empirical investigation of Blockchain’s scope for improvement received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Blockchain (ICBC 2019) in San Diego. Pavel is mainly responsible for the technical implementation of our projects.
