
Dr. Evgeniia Karlusch
Dr. Evgeniia Karlusch is a Blockchain academic with extensive expertise in technology valorisation and innovation management. Her professional experience includes AIT Austrian Institute of Technology (scientist, innovation systems and policy), WU Vienna (senior scientist, research institute for Cryptoeconomics), CERN (technology commercialization), and TU Vienna (lecturer and advisor, early stage science-based ventures at i2c Innovation Incubation Centre). In her research, Evgeniia focuses on Blockchain-enabled business models and exploration of evolutionary path of this technology in a socio-economic context. Evgeniia is active in academic teaching (ex. “FinTech and Blockchain Lab” and “FinTech Consulting” at WU Vienna, “Intellectual Property Rights and Project Management” at MedUni Vienna, “Technology Competence Leveraging” at TU Vienna, “Entrepreneurial Opportunities with Blockchain” at Kyoto Institute of Technology, etc.), and frequently holds Blockchain-related workshops for various companies and delivers public talks and keynotes. Evgeniia fluently speaks four languages (German, English, Italian and Russian) and holds a PhD in business information systems from WU Vienna, a Master in Economics from University of Jena and a Specialist Degree in Finance from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance.
